Fake currency seized in Cachar, two arrested

Silchar Custom HQ and BSF IB have managed to seize fake currency worth Rs 8,04,000/- on Tuesday evening.

As per reports, the officials stopped a motorbike in Kabuganj area near the tri junction on Silchar – Aizawl road. There were three persons riding on the motorbike of which one managed to run away while the other two is in custody. They are Ziabur Rehman Barbhuiya and Faizur Rehman.

Ziabur said that the cash was given to him by a man named Afzal who lives in Singhi area in Dholai.
