Ferry services have resumed between Majuli’s Nimati Ghat and Kamalabari following a temporary suspension due to rising water levels in the Brahmaputra River.

The services were halted for five days but have now recommenced, with ferries switching between their previous river routes and adapting to new ones as necessary.

Currently, the Nimati-Aphalamukh ferry service remains suspended, while efforts continue to normalize operations across all routes affected by the recent water level fluctuations.
