Five arrested in Golaghat for bank robbery attempt

Golaghat police, in a recent operation led by Dhrubajyoti Bora, has been successful in nabbing five accused bank robbers.

The robbers had been identified as Barpeta's Mohammed Rajak Ali, Mohammed Sahabuddin, and Mohammed Muzamuddin and Baksa's Mohammed Jamal Badshah and Mohammed Jahidul Ali.

Reportedly, the accused have been arrested while attempting to rob the Telgorom branch of SBI in Numaligarh on Thursday night.

Two Vehicles and equipment belonging to the accused had also been seized by the police.

However, investigation is still going on.
