Gambling basin busted in Birubari

During an operation carried out by Paltanbazar police, one gambler has arrested at the Birubari region in Guwahati, on Sunday evening.

As per reports, the accused has been identified as Samir Banik who was running the business fora long time.

During the operation, police have seized approximately Rs 25,000 cash, 7 nos of bikes, a few ATM cards and 19 pairs of playing cards and 3 mobile phones.

It may be stated that 5 more gamblers have fled away from the scene.
