Gang Of Thieves Busted In Barpeta

Acting on a tip-off, the Barpeta police on Monday night successfully arrested a gang thieves from various places in Kalgachiya and Barpeta.

From this five-member gang of thieves, the police also recovered nine computer sets.

The arrested thieves have been identified as Barpeta's Dildar Rezza and Halimuddin, Dhubri's Hanif Ali and Siraj Ali and Chirang's Mohidul Islam.
Police informed that the gang was involved in several computer thefts across the state.
The gang is also involved with the theft of nine computers from Balagaon High School in Barpeta's Jania area.
