Ganja worth Rs. 14 lakh seized in Lumding

TheGovernment Railway Police (GRP) on Tuesday evening recovered 29 kg ganja from 12526Down Dibrugarh-Kolkata Indrani Express Train in Lumding.

The recovered ganja is worth Rs. 14 lakhs approximately, informed officials. DSP of GRP informed that based on a secret tip-off, the huge amount of ganja were seized.

"After this recovery, we searched the whole train, but no more ganja were found," said a GRP official. However, no arrests were made following the recovery.
