In a shocking accident, a gas tanker (AS-26-C-5110) crashed into a bridge at Amoni near Kaliabor on Thursday morning.

According to eyewitnesses, the tanker skidded off the bridge into the river Diju. The body of the driver is yet to recover.

Reports suggested that the tanker was travelling from Bongaigaon to Tinsukia.
