Girl allegedly molested in Guwahati city bus

In a sensational incident in Guwahati, a girl wasallegedly molested by a middle-aged man inside a city bus. In a video, thatwent viral on social media, the girl has accused the man of touching her inappropriatelywhile travelling in the bus.

The incident took place when the girl was on her way to Downtown Hospital. "The middle-aged man has misbehaved with me," the girl was seen claiming in the video. Shockingly, no other passengers inside the bus came to help the girl during the incident. "As you can see I have not received any assistance from the other passengers inside the bus," the girl said in the video.

Meanwhile, Guwahati commissioner of police Deepak Kumar informed that the girl has not lodged any FIR regarding the incident so far. In the video, the middle-aged man identified himself to be Habibur Rahman of Hatigaon, however, later he was identified as Swapan Devnath, who has a SIM card store.
