A 17-year old girl went missing from Lalmati area in Guwahati since August 22. The girl identified as Rimpi Begum is a student of Higher Secondary.
Whencontacted, Rimpi's parents said that she went to college on August 22 and hasnot returned to home since then.
Theparents said that they have also asked Rimpi's friend regarding whereabouts oftheir daughter but no one knows where is Rimpi.
As the parents have not got any clue of Rimpi's whereabouts, they lodged an FIR at Basistha police station.
Policehas started investigation on the incident.
