Golaghat Death Case: Effigy of HBS Burnt

Members of Golaghat AASU unit today burnt the effigy of Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in opposition to the alleged inefficiency shown by the doctor and nurses of the Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital that led to the death of a 16 –year-old adolescent named Raj Mazumdar.

It is alleged that Mazumdar, who was suffering from acute stomach ache, was denied the right treatment in the name of COVID-19 test.

The members of the said organization protested and demanded appropriate action to be taken against the doctors and nurses concerned.
