Gold Smuggler Arrested In Guwahati

A gold smuggler was arrested by Guwahati police late Sunday and recovered gold weighing around 330 grams from his possession.

According to sources, the smuggler, identified as one Prem Chandra Singh, was on his way from Manipur to Guwahati when police intercepted and arrested him.

The authenticity of the gold is not yet ascertained. Investigation is underway.
