Followers of Christianity across the state and the country are observing Good Friday today marking the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and his death at Calvary.
Also known as the Holy Friday, Great Friday, Black Friday and Easter Friday, the day is observed on the Friday before Easter Sunday, that marks the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Masses and prayers have been organised in various Churches and Chapels.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today remembering the the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, took to Twitter to dedicate a few lines.
