GUWAHATI | Chain snatcher targets Solo woman

A woman who went for morning walk was targetted by a chain snatcher on Friday morning at Ambikagiri Nagar in Guwahati. The woman was identified to be singer Tarali Sarma's mother.

She fell down and sustained serious head injuries. She is now undergoing treatment at ICU in a city hospital. The chain snatcher is still at large. CCTV footage is being checked. But the city has turned out to be a safe place for criminals day by day.
