Guwahati-Darrang: Inter-district travel prohibited

In a latest development, the entry into Darang district from Kamrup Metropolitan has been prohibited.

This decision was taken on Wednesday by the Darrang district administration in the wake of coronavirus cases in Guwahati.

The Deputy Commissioner Dilip Kumar Bora stated public will not be allowed to enter and exit Darrang from and to Guwahati. The instruction should be followed by all government officials and employees as well.

Failing to obey the decision, strict action would be taken under the Disaster Management Act.
