Guwahati: Dist Admin Withdraws 6 Containment Zone Areas

The Kamrup Metro District Administration vide an order withdrawn containment zone from 6 areas in Guwahati as no further COVID-19 positive cases have been detected. The areas from which the containment zones have been withdrawn are:

1. Central Jail, Guwahati
2. Bathou Nagar, Guwahati
3. Syamkunj Apartment, Lakhinagar, R.G.Baruah Road
4. Lichubagan, Hengerabari
5. Hajongbari, Chandrapur
6. Indrapur Hill Top, Guwahati

Further, the order enforcing enclosure of shops andbusiness establishments in the area from Sarabbhati Chariali (Police Point) toArya College Field (both side of the road) has also been withdrawn.

Meanwhile, residents and owners of the shops and businesses of the respective areas have been strictly advised to follow all the protocols for preventing the spread of COVID-19.
