Guwahati: Heavy rain triggers landslide in Maligaon

Another landslide has struck in Guwahati city on Monday.

The landslide occurred in Madhab Dev Nagar in the Maligaon area of Guwahati. Due to heavy rainfall, large chunks of soil and rocks have eroded from the hills.

The main road of Madhab Dev Nagar area is now covered with boulders and mud.

Many residents living in the area have been evacuated and relocated to safer places.
