Guwahati Refinery Employee Tests COVID-19 Positive

An employee of the Guwahati Refinery has been tested positive for COVID-19. The person identified as Subrata Kumar Gogoi is an official of the mechanical department of Guwahati Refinery.

Gogoi, who is a resident of Sector 1 in Noonmati was about to travel to Naharkatia with his wife, and before travelling both he and his wife undergo COVID-19 tests in which he tested positive while his wife tested negative of the virus.

However, Gogoi doesn't have any travel history nor has he showed any symptoms of COVID-19.

The report of Gogoi, however, created chaos in the refinery and in thenearby areas.
