Guwahati to host IPL matches, confirms RR owner

It's official! Guwahati's Barsapara stadium will hostmatches in the coming season of IPL in 2020 as Rajasthan Royals (RR) is gearingup to play at least two IPL matches at Barsapara Cricket Stadium.

Addressing the media in Guwahati, the owner of RR, ManojBadale, announced the big news. The Barsapara cricket stadium has been selectedas a venue by the RR team for its home matches.

It may be mentioned here that Assam cricketer RiyanParag was also part of the RR team.

Badale further said that RR will also set up a cricketacademy in Assam.
