GUWAHATI | Traffic cop ‘attacked’ by biker

A policeman was attacked by a bike-borne miscreant in full public view on NH 37, this evening (Aug 9).

According to the reports — Shahid Ahmed Laskar, a traffic constable working with Basistha traffic police in the city — he was deployed for duty on NH 37. This evening, the traffic noticed a bike-borne youth violating traffic rules, while riding bike.

The cop tried to stop them…and he was attacked 'brutally' by the bike-borne miscreant in full public view.

Later, Police managed to detain the accused biker. He was identified as Pwilao Basumatary.
