GUWAHATI | Trucks laden with sand, soil seized

A special operation team of Forest personnel led by Forest minister Parimal Suklabaidya seized several trucks laden with soil and sand. The operation had been conducted in the Khanapara- Jalukbari road.

The trucks have been for the violation of Assam Minor Mineral Rule, 2013 of the forest department and these trucks were running without valid TP and challan for supplying minor minerals. Minister Parimal Suklabaidya said that the operation against illegal mining would continue in the city.
