The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) in its official Twitter handle reported heavy to very heavy rainfall across Northeast India and in the western coastal parts of India on Saturday.
IMD also predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall over central and east India during the next four days. The Twitter thread also mentions, "A cyclonic circulation lies over north Interior Odisha and neighbourhood and extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level, tilting southwestwards with height."
Widespread rain along with isol heavy to very heavy falls very likely along the remaining parts of west coast and NE India during next 5 days. Fairly widespread to widespread rain with isol heavy to very heavy falls likely over central & adjoining east India during next 3-4 days.
