Heavy rainfall in Arunachal Pradesh, landslide in Naharlagun

With rains still continuing in Arunachal Pradesh, there have been reports of fresh landslides at Polo Colony in Naharalgun.

The incident occurred in the morning of Wednesday which has damaged two rented houses, burying them in the debris.

There are no reports of death, everyone have been rescued alive. However, the few seriously injured have been taken to the nearby Tomo Riba Institute of Health And Medical Sciences (TRIHMS).

Due to continuous heavy rainfall on Tuesday, there have also been reports of water logging in Nirjuli.
