Here’s the Phase-I voter turnout in NE States

Assam on Thursday recorded a polling of 67.4 percent in phase one of Lok Sabha elections.

As per the State Election Office, Tezpur recorded 70 percent polling, Kaliabor 64 percent, Lakhimpur 62 percent, Dibrugarh 69 percent and Jorhat 72 percent.

Besides, Assam, following list represents the polling percentage of other Northeastern State:

• Arunachal Pradesh (2/2 seats) – 66%
• Manipur (1/2 seat) – 78.2%
• Meghalaya (2/2 seats) – 67.16%
• Mizoram (1/1 seat) – 60%
• Nagaland (1/1 seat) – 78%
• Sikkim (1/1 seat) – 69%
• Tripura (1/2 seat) – 81.8%
