Himanta Biswa’s convoy kills two

Twopeople have been killed when Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma's convoy bumpedinto them on Thursday evening.

Theincident took place near Baghmari area under Biswanath district, when MinisterSarma's convoy was on its way from Lakhimpur to Guwahati.

Thedeceased are yet to be identified.

Meanwhile,one more with serious injuries has been referred to a Tezpur hospital for furthertreatment.

Accordingto reports, MP Pallab Lochan Das was also seen with Minister Sarma.

Thelocals demanding justice blocked the National Highway.
