Hojai Administration Conducts Eviction Drive

An eviction drive was carried out at Morjhar Bazaar at Hojai district under the instruction of the district administration. The eviction drive was carried out against the encroachment in the land of PWD.

The eviction drive was carried under the leadership of Doboka Revenue Circle officer. Many schools, business establishments, and ATM have been evicted from the encroachment area.

The officials said that they issued a notice to the encroachers many time but they violated the rules and regulations for which they are compelled to carry out the eviction drive.

The boundary walls, veranda, gate and water tanks have been destroyedduring the eviction.
