HSLC and High Madrassa, 2018 results declared

Amidst all the excitement and enthusiasm building up, the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has declared the High School Leaving Certificate Examination (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa, 2018 results on Friday.

A total of 3, 37,570 candidates appeared for the exams, out of which 1, 89,191 have qualified in it. Among the qualified, 97,056 are male candidates with a pass percentage of 59 % and with 53.23%, 92,135 female candidates have cleared the exams. The pass percentage of 2018 has increased as compared to 2017 which had 47.94% pass percentage

60,987 candidates have secured 1st division, 81,853 secured 2nd division and 46,351 secured 3rd division.

District of Dhemaji yet again tops the list with 79.76% pass percentage. In the second position is Nalbari district with a 69.85% and Udalguri with 35.97% pass percentage stands at third position.

On the other hand, 9095 candidates appeared for the Assam High Madrassa Examinations (AHM), out of which 4604 have cleared the exams with a pass percentage of 50.62%.

55.11% male candidates and 47.11% female candidates have cleared the exams. 831 students have secured 1st division and 2489 secured 2nd division.

In AHM, Sivasagar has topped the list with 87.62% pass percentage and followed by Baksa with 81.37%.
