IMA team visits Dr Deben Dutta’s house

A teamof Indian Medical Association (IMA) visited the house of late Dr Deben Dutta onWednesday. They also criticized Assam government over the issue and demanded CMSarbananda Sonowal to make his stand clear on the issue within 24-hour. Therepresentative of IMA also threatened to launch nationwide protest against thehorrific incident.

On the other hand, Jorhat Police on Tuesday night detained a former All Assam Tea Students Association (AATSA) leader in connection with the brutal murder of Dr Deben Dutta of Teok Tea Estate. The former AATSA leader has been identified as Manoj Manjhi.
