India vs NEUFC match ends in a tie

SunilChhetri-led Indian National Team took NorthEast United FC (NEUFC) in a friendlypractice match on Wednesday evening at the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex inGuwahati. The match ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw.

Thefirst half was lively but it slowed down in the second half as almost all thebig names were substituted off in the second half. The first goal of the matchcame from Sunil Chhetri and just before half-time, Ghanaian striker AsomoahGyan found the equalizer for NEUFC.

The matchwas organized to help Team India to prepare for their upcoming World CupQualifier match against Bangladesh.
