“It’s a Poll Oriented Budget”: AGP, CONG

The opposition political parties criticized that the state Budget 2019-20 is a poll oriented budget. The opposition party called the budget is an attracting instrument of votes to BJP in the ensuing election.

The Former Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi expressed angry over the budget and said that it is a 'Jumla'. He also called the budget it did not address the ground realities.

Opposition parties compared the budget as a magic which was shown the magician on the dias.

The AGP leaders said that the budget will have implications of the national elections due by May.
