Pro-talkULFA leader Jiten Dutta was granted bail on Saturday evening. The Tinsukia andMargherita Session Court accepted the bail plea of Dutta.
Thepolice had arrested Jiten Dutta on December 18 amid the widespread protestagainst the contentious Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA).
Acase (374/19) was registered against him at Margherita police station underSections 120 (B), 121, 147, 148, 149, 353, 454, 427 and 435 of the Indian PenalCode (IPC).
