JMB cadre arrested in Barpeta

Barpeta Police this evening arrested one more person for hisinvolvement with Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).

He was identified as Mustafijur Rahman (25). Three suspectedJamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) cadres were arrested in Barpeta districtof lower Assam, police said on Tuesday.

Superintendent of Police Robin Kumar told reporters thatthey had been keeping a watch on JMB activities in view of the upcomingIndependence Day.
