Jorhat: 10 localities declared containment zones

In the wake of community spread of the coronavirus infection in Jorhat town, the district administration has declared ten areas under Jorhat municipality on Thursday as containment zones for an indefinite period.

The deputy commissioner of Jorhat Roshni Aparanji Korati announced the ten sub-areas as containment zones:

1. No 2 Sonari Gaon
2. Office of the Deputy Commissioner
3. Cheuniali
4. Marwaripatty
5. Suani Gaon
6. Phasi Ali
7. Itakhuli
8. JMCH UG hostel
9. Kalisthan
10. Satish Apartment
