Jorhat: 2 Employees of SP Office Test COVID-19 +

Jorhat Deputy Commissioner on Friday said that two employees of the Office of the Superintendent of Police tested positive for COVID-19. The employees have been identified as Pabitra Madhav Saikia and Tapan Dutta.

Both the employees were working in the office till Thursday for which chaos erupted among other staff after they were infected with the deadly virus.

The Superintendent of Police Mrinal Talukdar along with other staff has been quarantined at home, the DC said.

The DC further informed that the administration imposed weekend lockdown in the Panchayat areas of the district.
