43 new cases of coronavirus infection in Jorhat district have been reported on Wednesday, taking the district's active cases tally to 694.
Out of the 43 cases, 39 people do not have any recorded travel history.
As of date, there are 1107 positive cases while 405 cases have been recovered and discharged.
Four victims have died in the district.
