A police personnel on-duty has been attacked by BSF personnel at Jaji of Teok. The victim has been identified as Pranab Gogoi.
As per reports, Pranab Gogoi has been attacked by BSF personnel and two other men.
As told by the victim Pranab Gogoi, due to the Covid-19 situation, police teams were deployed at various check gates by the government and Gogoi along with his team were checking vehicles that entered Jorhat last night.
He further added that, three men came drunk at around 1 am and started misbehaving with the police on being questioned. They later attacked Pranab Gogoi leaving him bleed with injuries.
Meanwhile, the police have arrested one BSF personnel along with two others in concern with the case. The arrested have been identified as Parama Gogoi (BSF), Kusum Gogoi and Jyandeep Hazarika.
