The movie, which marks singer, music director, composer, songwriter, director and actor Zubeen Garg's another directorial venture after the release of 'Mission China', has collected around 40 lakh on its opening day in cinemas.
Kanchanjangha box office collection on the opening day could be considered as decent start given that the makers have released the movie in only about 69 screens. The business was not affected at all by Prabhas' big budget film Saaho (which is still dominating the Indian market), Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor- starrer Chhichhore, which released this week.
Kanchanjangha is a story ofAnirban, an ambitious rebellious young guy who fight against the system andsociety. It also ropes in APSC scam which is allegedly happening in Assam foryears and strict action was taken against the accused in 2017.
