KK Handique National Award to ‘Assam Tribune Group’

The Krishna Kanta Handique National Award, 2019 will be conferred to 'TheAssam Tribune Group'. This was announced at a press conference held onSaturday.

It was also announced in the press conference that the NationalFellowship Award, 2019 will be conferred to renowned scientist Dr. PratapChutia and Dr. Amarjyoti Kashyap. The two-year fellowship consists of 12 lakhrupees and a citation.

Kk Handique will also provide scholarships to five female candidates of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) for the third time. The five females are Dishna Phukan, Trinayana Kaushik, Enakshi Deka, Ananya Choudhury, and Santana Pegu.

The awards will be conferred on December 11.
