Lakhimpur: Family robbed of Rs. 12 lakh

Unidentifiedassailants robbed a family of Rs. 12 lakh worth of cash and jewellery inSinatoli area under Lakhimpur district last night.

Thefamily was in sleep when unidentified men barged in and held the family membershostage at knife point. They further attacked Arun Dutta, the head of thefamily. Dutta has been rushed to a hospital.

Meanwhile,police have registered a case and investigations are on.
