In a shocking incident an Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) agent was murdered at Amingaon's Lachitpur near Guwahati. The deceased has been identified as Tarun Das. He was killed by unidentified men on Saturday night at his house. Reportedly, the miscreants fled the scene after committing the crime.
According to police, the body had injury marks on neck and also recovered torn pieces of gloves near the place of occurrence. The shocking incident has sent a ripple of panic and sensation in the entire area.
An FIR has been lodged and probe has been initiated by the Amingaon police.
Earlier on October, an State bank of India (SBI) employee named Junu Sharma was shot dead in North Guwahati's Agyathuri by two miscreants , who was returning from work.
