Liquor Baron Rajesh Jalan, accused of evading State exchequer of several crores of money, was on Friday granted bail by the Gauhati high Court.
The Court allowed Jalan to go on bail. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested liquor merchant Rajesh Jalan in a money laundering case. Jalan is a prime accused in the excise scam that took place in Assam during the tenure of the previous Tarun Gogoi government.
