Lockdown violations: 58 vehicles seized in Guwahati

Amid the strict imposition of a complete lockdown, citizens across the city continue to violate the law and order.

As on Wednesday, across the city, 58 vehicles have been seized. So far, 25 number of two-wheelers, nine numbers of three-wheelers, and 24 number of four-wheelers.

In this connection, five persons were arrested today and two cases have been registered.

A fine of 37, 000 rupees have been collected as of June 30 and 11,000 rupees in connection with not wearing masks.
