Lovlina and Mary selected for Women’s World Boxing

Basedon recent performances, Assam daughter Lovlina Borgohain and six-time worldchampion MC Mary Kom have been selected for the upcoming women's world boxingchampionships. The world championships are scheduled from October 3 to 13 inRussia.

World Champion bronze medallist Lovlina will be competing in the 69kg category. She recently won gold at the Magomed Salam Umakhanov Memorial International Boxing Tournament 2019 in Russia.

On the other hand, Mary Kom has already claimed two gold medals this year. She has been selected in the 51kg category. Mary recently claimed the gold at the 23rd President's Cup in Indonesia.
