In a recent development, 4 accused have been arrested by Panbazar police on Wednesday in Guwahati.
All these 4 the accused was arrested in the allegation of involvement in Machkhoa daylight robbery which took place in Machkhoa on Tuesday.
As per reports, the accused have been identified as Tapas Bose, Jakifor Rahman, Baloram Kalita and Bhabesh Kalita.
Reportedly, among them, 2 of them namely Tapas Bose and Jakifor Rahman were the employee of a company named VSL. On the other hand, Bhabesh Kalita was the security personal of the company and Tapas Bose was the driver of the van.
The robbery took place on Tuesday when the process of refilling of money around 40 lakh cash, into an ATM was going on. Panbazar police have already started interrogation for further details in this regard. But the main accused of this daylight robbery is still on the run.
It may be stated that the four accused would be produced to Kamrup CJM court today.
