Majuli: Youth Reportedly Dies of COVID-19

Sensation prevailed at Majuli over the death of a youth who was under treatment at the isolation ward of Majuli Hospital. The incident took place at the civil hospital of the Gormur sub-division at Majuli.

The youth was admitted to the hospital after complaining of breathing problems and chest pain. He was kept in isolation as the doctors suspected that he was infected with COVID-19.

The locals and his wife alleged that he died of the doctor's negligence saying that the youth died after falling from bed.
