- A man was arrested after investigators said he made a threat on Facebook to kill Journalist Rajen Deka.
- Deka was severely injured when miscreants attacked him on his way home at Mukalmua, around 56 kilometre from Guwahati, late Thursday evening.
- The accused has been identified as Jintu Medhi from Kawaimari under Sarthebari Police station.
