Man commits suicide in Chandmari

A man allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of a train at Chandmari area in Guwahati on Friday evening.

Thedeceased has been identified as Mithun Dey (35). He is a resident of Bhaskar Nagararea near Gauhati Commerce College.

Meanwhile,Police reached the spot immediately after the incident. However, the reasonbehind the suicide is yet to be ascertained.
