India's 'boxing queen' M.C. Mary Kom scripted history by winning her 6th World Championship title in the AIBA Women's World Championship 2018 at the K.D. Jadhav Indoor Stadium in New Delhi on Sunday. The heart throb of Manipur began confidently against her opponent and used all her experiences to her benefit. She was very quick on her feet and landed punches on her opponent with great pace and technique. Okhota too displayed her aggressive attitude but looked a bit lazy to defend herself against the Indian champion.

With this historic feat, Mary Kom overtook Irish legend Katie Taylor who also had five World Championships to her name. Also she draws level with Cuban boxer Felix Savon who has six world titles in the Men's category.
