Massive fire breaks out in Jalukbari

In a tragic turn of events, a massive fire broke out on Saturday at Phulpahi Nagar in the Jalukbari area of Guwahati, affecting around 30 households.

Apparently, the fire was triggered by a short circuit and further led to the explosion of five cylinders that aggravated the fire. At least five fire brigades are present at the place of incident to extinguish the fire.

As there were no occupants in the house from where the fire started, no fatalities have been reported so far.
