To conduct the upcoming national Census 2021 smoothly and accurately, the Directorate of Census Operation has decided to go digital with a mobile phone application. In a first, the 2021 counting of the population will be done through a mobile phone application, leaving the age-old pen and paper practice.
According to reports, the census in the State will be conducted by around 84,000 State government employees in two different phases.
