Morigaon: Businessman robbed of Rs. 12 lakh

In asensational incident, a businessman was robbed of Rs. 12 lakh by unidentifiedmiscreants in Morigaon district, while he was travelling in his vehicle on Wednesdaynight. The businessman was identified as Yaruf Hussain.

Accordingto reports, the incident took place in Matiparbat area under the district, whenhis vehicle was intercepted by the team of miscreants, who had arrived on aTata Sumo (AS-01-MA-3734). Hussain said that the miscreants were wearing policeuniform.

The miscreants also threatened the businessman and brutally thrashed him. A senior police officer said a case has been registered and a team formed to identify the suspects.
